William BATTEN [15930], son of John BATTEN ( -1737) [15957] and Joan ( -1744) [15958], was born in 1718 in Shipham, Somerset. He was baptised on 17 October 1718 in Shipham. He and Sarah <BATTEN> had the following children:

	Josias BATTEN (1746-1834) [15869]. Josias was born in 1745/46 in Shipham, Somerset. He was baptised on 6 January 1745/46 in Shipham. He married Ann PARKER [15870] on 3 July 1775 in Chew Magna, Somerset. He died in 1834. He was buried on 25 May 1834 in Chew Magna.
	Rebecca BATTEN (1754- ) [15932]. Rebecca was born in 1754 in Shipham. She was baptised on 20 August 1754 in Shipham.
